[On Christmas morning, Jasmine visits Corrin's house to spread the greetings personally. If invited, she'll stay for tea, but more importantly she hands to her close friend a rather large package, labelled with Corrin's name in elegant cursive, in both Roman and Persian (پرنسس کورین) alphabet. As Corrin opens it, Jasmine drops her usual confident composure and actually seems sheepish as she explains the gift.]
Corrin... I can never sum up in one present just how much your friendship has meant to me since we came here. We don't share the same background, but our values and passions are so alike, and you've helped me more times than I can count. But in May, when... [She swallows.] we found the eggs, it felt different. It's hard to explain, but you're more than just a dear friend now - a confidante or like kin, I suppose. And because of that, I hope we can see each other's kingdoms, and that we'll remain companions long after we leave Visium... to witness our rulings, our marriages, and our children grow together.
[The package, it turns out, is a very tender painting of Kana and Little Guy snuggling during their adolescence. The dragons were so close, they were practically cousins or even siblings, which is just how Jasmine feels about the fellow princess at this point.]
